A message from our team

It is with a heavy heart that due to circumstances beyond our control, it seems inevitable that the first-ever A Lost Weekend presents Human Traffic Live will need to be postponed.

The health and safety of our guests, performers and staff is the most important thing. This is not the time to lose our reality on the dancefloor, it is a time to look after one another and be responsible.

This new entertainment genre was designed to change the face of live events, sadly this virus will temporarily do the same thing. We stand solid and firm with our industry friends, artists, suppliers, venues, creators and everyone affected, we are all in this together.

We will be back, we are not cancelling, we will return. We are looking into rescheduling and intend to release dates soon.

We had some wild plans for our second year already in play, so we will just bring those forward and we will reveal these as soonas we are able. We will all want to come together again, one the world has healed.

Stay in touch and we will too, sharing news as we have it. Details of any refunds and/or ticket transfers will be available very soon. Please bare with us. We will continue to be in contact directly with ticket buyers.

We adore you all. Keep safe.

You are our chosen family, let music pull us through this!

With love, A Lost Weekend Family x

Dear Chosen Family!

To thank you for your INCREDIBLE love and support that you have given to us at A Lost Weekend presents Human Traffic live, and to mark what would have been the closing of the series, we are delighted to announce that we have an exclusive live stream with CARL COX on Friday 12th June 2020, 19:30 BST.

Carl promises a set that will turn any floor into a dancefloor, as he shares with us his musical tribute to the film Human Traffic where he plays notorious club owner Pablo Hassan, and to the era it was set within…more details to follow.

This will DEFINITELY turn Hare Krishna into a Bad Boy!

17th April 2020

We know you are waiting for updates from us, and we will reply to each and every one of you as soon as is humanly possible. To put on an event of this magnitude we collaborate with many partners, organisations and talent.

Before we can speak to you, we must, ourselves wait on decisions from others; some of which are unfortunately way outside of our control. Since we announced our postponement we have been humbled by your messages of support.

We want to thank you for all the love and the messages you’ve been sharing with us. The strength of this community and our eagerness to bring A Lost Weekend to you all is what is pushing us forward. We will be in touch very soon, we promise as soon as we know, you will know and dates and details of the options open to you.

We love you all. Be safe, stay strong, stay home.

Hotels and travel -Some people would have already booked hotels and transport. Are you planning to reimburse for these?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer compensation for travel and accommodation plans made, but please contact your hotel or travel provider directly about refunds and date changes as they may be able to help. We are deeply very sorry we can’t cover these.

Refund procedure - how will this work? Where will people receive them from and when?

This is our main priority at the moment and we are working with our insurers to get this information to you as quickly as possible. Please bear with us.  We appreciate that all money in this current climate is precious, we do not underestimate this fact. Please do not worry, there will be refund or future ticket options coming to you very soon.

Line-up - Will the line-up be the same in 2021?

We had some wild bookings for our second year already in play and we are working with this year’s planned line-up to carry some of them over so we can bring you the most insane line-up ever. We will release details in the coming months and hope the world is safe and ready again in 2021 to hold this event.

Cancellation - Why have you cancelled when other events are going ahead?

The event is not cancelled – it is only postponed to an as yet unspecified future date.  Huge investment has been made in the show and experience and we want to showcase it to the music family! Your safety is our priority, this is first and foremost and we are looking ahead to weigh up what may happen. A Lost Weekend is also independently owned and funded to make our vision come to life personal, not corporate.

Although the current government guidelines have not given definitive dates as to when we might expect things to return to normal, it is everyone’s expectation that this disruption will last for several months and so is likely to cover the dates of our series, so we just can’t take the risk.

Competition winners - what happens with these? Will they get offered tickets to the postponed date?

Tickets will be honoured for new dates. We will be in touch with competition winners directly in due course.

Postponement dates - When will the new dates be announced?

We are working tirelessly with artists and agents on new dates and we will be announcing these as soon as practicable.

Will the new dates be at Printworks?

Our plan has always been to hold year two at Printworks, we can’t say for certain at this stage and we are looking at all options being made available to us.

Printworks - How long will events at Printworks be cancelled for?

Please keep an eye on the venue social media channels for updates.
